How Your Event Works
Every group is different, so our volunteer helpers tailor the session to suit your style — relaxed, competitive, structured, or freeflowing. There’s no fixed schedule — your helpers adjust the pace to suit your group.
Most events follow a simple, easy rhythm:
- Arrival & Welcome: Settle into the clubhouse and meet your volunteer helpers. If you’d like a group photo, it often works best at the start while everyone is still together.
- Introduction to Golf Croquet: A friendly, quick briefing, no experience needed.
- Practice & Warm Up: Try a few shots and get comfortable with the mallets.
- Games & Challenges: Enjoy fun, social games across our lawns, as structured or relaxed as your group prefers.
- Refreshments & Social Time: Use the clubhouse for food, drinks, and conversation.
- WrapUp & Departure: Groups usually finish at their own pace — some keep playing, others relax in the clubhouse with food and drinks, and some begin heading off earlier. Before leaving, we simply ask that the clubhouse and lawns are left tidy, with all rubbish taken away.
Booking & Payment Requirements
Full payment is required to secure your booking. Please confirm your attendee numbers before submitting the enquiry form, as these will be used for invoicing and we’ll assume payment will be made on that basis.
Once we receive your enquiry form, we’re very happy to hold your preferred date for you. The booking will remain provisional until payment is made. If another group expresses interest in the same date, we’ll let you know straight away. We’re happy to hold the date for one working week so you have time and space to decide. If you’d like to go ahead, payment will need to be made within that week to secure your booking. There’s absolutely no obligation to continue if you decide not to go ahead.
Invoices are based on your confirmed attendee numbers. While reductions can’t be refunded, additional attendees can be added later and invoiced separately. If your attendee numbers change in any way before payment, please let us know as soon as possible. We’ll need to reassess the booking at that point to ensure we can still proceed. This is important, as unexpected changes in numbers have previously resulted in substantial costs to the club.
Note: The club is not GST registered.
If Your Plans Change After Payment
If your circumstances change after payment has been made, please refer to our cancellation policy below.

Less than 28 days before your event: Refunds are not available. However, please contact us as soon as possible — we may be able to move your booking to another date within the same season. If we are able to fill your original booking slot, your payment will be refunded.
