Winter play at Kelburn
Here's what you need to know about playing croquet at Kelburn for our winter months, until the start of the summer season.
Not everyone is lucky enough to have lawns available in winter. We welcome our visiting friends from Khandallah Club.

Starting date and winter times, shorter games
We expect to start on Saturday 3 June at the winter start time of 10.00 am, weather permitting. We will email again with a changed date only if the weather defeats us and we are unable to do the hoop-setting in time.
Three lawns only are available for play, as we pay the Wellington City Council for maintenance of three lawns throughout winter, and rotate their use. Check the whiteboard inside the front door for which lawns are to be used on the day. We expect to be using lawns 3, 4, and 5 to start with.
Winter games will be 30 minutes' duration.
Winter fees
Fees are $60 for the winter season, or $10 per session. Please pay your winter fees online to the club's bank account, below, putting ‘’winter fee'' in the details.
